- Charm recently began warming up to both
Susan and me. On a good day, we can coax affection from her (sometimes
without food). She will let us pet her as long as there is no sudden
movement and if we remain seated. She still isn’t comfortable with anyone
who is standing or crouching. Like a typical cat, she can’t help but stick
her rear in the air as you pet her. In fact, if you are persistent, Charm
will begin to “make bread” (knead) and purr. She has really progressed in
the past month. However, she still isn’t comfortable enough to venture
into the house. Hopefully that will change sometime in the near future.
